  4. Having bought this Utah Saints CD on the strength of the singles "Something Good" and "What Can You Do for Me", I found the rest of the disc to be surprisingly enjoyable. I will start by saying that these two singles still standout as the best songs on the disc. "Something Good" is as danceable today as it was when it was released 20 years ago/5(20).
  5. Utah Saints, which sounds like a mixture of Techno, Dance and Rock is a rare but good breed. When I heard the first track 'something good' I immediately thought this had to be done by 'Bomb The Bass' (Beat Dis). But ofcourse it wasn't. This is one example of good classic techno stuff. Another good track 'I Want You' has more of a rock edge to it/5(8).
  6. Utah Saints are a electronic band based in Leeds, England (originally formed in Harrogate, North Yorkshire). The band had a string of hit singles in the British pop charts in the s, and were notable for their extensive use of sampling technology - in particular, their practice of manipulating samples from mainstream pop and rock songs and combining them with contrasting dance beats.
  7. Utah Saints then moved away from vocal samples with singles such as "I Want You" (sampling thrash metal band Slayer) and "I Still Think of You" (Jez Willis providing original vocals on both). Utah Saints also had three songs — "Hands Up", "Techknowledgy" and "Sick" — featured on the hit video game, Carmageddon TDR
